: about the Churches

Two of Ashe County’s treasures are the historic St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in West Jefferson and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Glendale Springs. Once they served separate rural communities, but today they are comprised of a single congregation.  Collectively they are known as the Parish of the Holy Communion.
